SHARED has a couple spaces available to rent for events that enrich the community. Facilities include a large common area, configurable tables, chairs, and kitchen. Renters are responsible for setup and cleanup. Schedule and staffing resources determine space availability.
• First Floor Space Capacity: 100 seated auditorium style, 200 Standing
• Second Floor Space Capacity: 30 seated auditorium style, 60 Standing
** PRICING **
Weeknight: $150-$2000 depending on size and nature of the event (community focus, size, if admission is charged, etc.) Cleaning Fee ($75-$150) is added for all groups serving food/drink. All weeknight events start after 6pm. Parking lot is available for $8/day.
Weekend: (the space is occasionally available for weekend events): $300-$2000 per day, depending on scope of event. Cleaning Fee ($75-$150) is added for all groups serving food/drink. All weeknight events start after 6pm. Parking lot is available for $8/day.
** STAFFING **
One SHARED member or staff present to lock up and answer your questions. Please bring your own staff for the event. If there will be more than fifteen guests, bring one staff member per twenty-five guests.
** PARKING & TRANSPORTATION **
Street parking in the evenings and weekend is easy. SHARED is five blocks from Powell Montgomery Bart and three blocks from CalTrain. There is a parking lot on Oak Grove (an alley across the street from SHARED). Bikes are welcome inside the front door of our space.
